What is tarot all about?

Tarot is an ancient tool used to work with your self, seeking with in, learning your deep inside corners and help others on their path in life.

The Dry Part:
Physically Tarot is a deck of cards, traditionally holding 78 cards, though some of the untraditional decks differ in amount suited and decided for the individual artist of the deck.

The 78 cards is divided in 2 Arcana's:
The Major Arcana, also called the Triumphs has 22 cards starting from 0The Fool up till 21-The World

The Minor Arcana, which is divided in another, two sections:

The 16 Court Cards and the 40 Minors.

The Meaning Part:
Viewing Tarot as a play in theatre The Majors is the stage, the back stage, the editors, the producers, the stage managers and so on. They are the Triumphs, the archetypes. With out them there is no play, with to many of them it could end up in chaos leaving still no play.

The Majors are the overall rulers of the game. If you get majors in a reading they over rule any other card standing against them.

Here you will see:

The Fool - who brings and new beginning, not caring about what tomorrow brings.

The Magician  - who can make everything of nothing, showing you how to use your abilities.

The High Priestess – who has walked the lands of the death and returned, she knows all time and space

The Empress – the mother of tarot, teaching us patience and how to make things grow.

The Emperor – the father of tarot, he rules and takes care of his children with a firm and strong hand.

The Hermit – who by his absence reminds us to seek with in and take a moment of meditation.

The Wheel of Fortune – which urges us to seek our right place on the wheels of life.

Justice – who shows us how to scale deeds and making sure we can justify our actions.

The Hanged Man – who shows us that sometimes to gain first we must feel pain.

Death – who brings ends and thereby making room, time and space for rebirth, transformation and new beginnings.

Temperance – who so beautiful teaches us how to temper our selves and our environment.

The Devil – the misunderstood creature that merely shows us our hidden lust and self-limits

The Tower – which will if it is build on bad soil tumble and leave chaos and ruins.

The Star – which enlighten us and shows how to temper emotions and actions.

The Moon – that hides what is best unseen, though by sunrise the things will come out in the open.

The Sun – that leaves a warmth and joy, though also reminds us that after rise come set.
